Finance
The Finance Department manages the City’s fiscal affairs and is responsible for budgeting, accounts payable, payroll, central accounting, fixed assets, internal controls, pension administration, and the annual external audit. The department is also responsible for cash, debt and investment management, the collection of municipal revenues, insurance, risk management, and purchasing.
The department provides services both internally for other departments and externally to our residents, at City Hall. It supports the operating departments through accounting, financial reporting, accounts payable, fixed assets control, and payroll.
The City of Palm Beach Gardens finance department has received both the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award and Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for over 13 years. The finance department staff continuously strives to enhance its practices, services, and resources to better assist the internal and external community.
