On February 13, 2009, the Department of Community Affairs completed its review of the City of Palm Beach Gardens' Comprehensive Plan Amendment, which was adopted by City Council via Ordinance 14, 2008, on December 18, 2008, and determined that it meets the requirements of Chapter 163, Part II, Florida Statutes, for compliance, as defined in Subsection 163.3184 (1) (b) Florida Statutes.
Since the major Comprehensive Plan update was adopted in 2009, there have been several additional amendments to the Comprehensive Plan. The latest amendment to the Comprehensive Plan was Ordinance 2, 2011, which was adopted on March 3, 2011. The Comprehensive Plan elements and maps below are the most current, and have been updated up until and including March 3, 2011, amendments.
The Legislature has revised the procedures for the submittal and adoption of comprehensive plan amendments based on the new statutory changes effective June 2, 2011. Click here for the current process of Comprehensive Plan petitions.
