Welcome to the Palm Beach Gardens Google Earth Mapping System (GARDENS-GEMS) Historic Map Tour!
In Celebration of the City's 50th Anniversary, the City's GIS Division has created this map tour of the City's history. The points of interest are represented by a yellow pushpin displayed over 1968 aerial imagery. Each point displays a different moment in time during the City’s history. Clicking on the pushpin will cause a pop-up window to appear. The window will contain the name of the point, along with a link to additional information. Please click on each pushpin and the related link to enjoy the tour.
Uncheck the box labeled 1968 Aerial Imagery within the Google Earth table of contents to turn off the 1968 imagery and view recent aerial imagery.
In order to take the 50th Birthday Tour for the City of Palm Beach Gardens, you will need to have the latest free version of Google Earth installed on your computer. The latest version can be installed by clicking the Help > Check for Updates Online menu tab within Google Earth or by going to http://earth.google.com/
Enjoy the tour!
