COMMUNITY SERVICES AIDE II – Recreation

Salary Range: $8.81 - $9.69/hour

Responsibilities: This is an entry level position that is responsible for assisting in the operation of events and programs. This position performs a variety of routine clerical, reception, computer, and customer service work and other related work as required and assigned. This position requires the ability to communicate effectively with children and adults who are participating in recreational activities. Note: This position involves frequent contact with the public and requires the ability to interact with the public in a professional, friendly, positive and tactful manner at all times. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and various shifts, as Recreation needs dictate.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum requirement must be a High School Student with at least one year of experience in Recreation or a closely related field… Must be able to swim the length of the swimming pool.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required, or must have the ability to obtain certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
