COMMUNITY SERVICES AIDE I – Recreation

Salary Range: $6.79 /hour / Hourly

Responsibilities: This is an entry level position that is responsible for assisting in the operation of events and programs. This position performs other related work as required and assigned. The ability to communicate effectively with children and adults who are participating in recreational activities is required. Note: This position involves frequent contact with the public and requires the ability to interact with the public in a professional, friendly, positive and tactful manner at all times. This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and various shifts, as Recreation needs dictate.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum requirement, must be a High School Student
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required, or must have the ability to obtain certifications within the first 90 days of employment.
• This position requires the ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
