COMMUNITY SERVICES LEADER I – TEACHERS’ ASSISTANT

Salary Range: $10.37 - $11.41/ hour

Responsibilities: This position is responsible for the planning, record keeping, organization and supervision of a classroom in the Riverside Youth Enrichment Center. The position requires knowledge and adherence to all Federal, State and Local regulations.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
• Considerable experience in Child Development or
• Any related combination of training and experience
• Valid Florida Drivers License
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position

Special Requirements:
• Mandatory 40 hour Health Department classes completed, or able to commence classes within 90 days of hire
• Candidates with an AA, BA, or MA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field, with some classes in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Child Development Association certification (CDA) preferred
• First Aid Infant and Child CPR preferred

• Copy of 40 hour health department classes completed
