COMMUNITY SERVICES LEADER II – TEACHER

Salary Range: $11.41 - $12.55 / hour

Responsibilities: This position has the responsibility for planning, organizing, supervising, and keeping records for a classroom in the Riverside Youth Enrichment Center. Written, age appropriate, creative lesson plans are done in advance. Communication with parents is essential. The position requires knowledge and adherence to all Federal, State and Local regulations.

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent required
• Child Development Associates certification required (CDA)
• Considerable experience in Child Development or
• Any related combination of training and experience
• Valid Florida Drivers License
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply for this position

Special Requirements:
• Mandatory 40 hour Health Department classes completed
• Candidates with an AA, BA, or MA in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field with some classes in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• First Aid Infant and Child CPR preferred
