C. S. AIDE II – GOLF STARTER
Salary Range: $8.81 - $9.69 / hourResponsibilities: This position performs a variety of duties including, but not limited to, greeting guests, verifying payment of fees, controlling access to the first tees, managing cross over activities between nines, advising guests of their position on the tee sheet and providing relevant information regarding golf course activities and all other duties assigned. The Starter is instrumental in managing the “pace of play” on the golf course. This position requires strong communication and people skills to ensure that guests receive the highest level of customer service. The ability to work weekends and holidays is required; approximately 20 hours per week. Must possess a valid State of Florida Drivers License.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• General knowledge of the methods, materials, and practices used in golf course operations.
• Ability to prepare reports and keep records.
• Ability to operate golf cart and other related equipment.
• Valid State of Florida State driver's license with clean driving record
• Previous fire rescue/ EMS field operations experience required.
