The Administrative Operations Bureau of the Police Department provides for the police organization through support and development of services and functions necessary for the public safety process. The Bureau's delivery of service is gauged by our ability to deal with the issues of finance, technology, creativity and efficiency. The following functions are supported:

The Dispatch operations center is a 24-hours a day, 7 days a week operation. All emergency 911 calls and non-emergency calls for service are received and dispatched to field officers from the center. The operations center has state of the art equipment and the latest software available for public safety operations. Emergency communication operators can communicate by voice and data to field operations through the use of radio and mobile data computers in every vehicle.

Crime analysis is responsible for gathering and disseminating crime statistics, daily and monthly reports, and tracking crime trends to attempt prevention of future crimes.
Telecommunications and Information Technology
Telecommunications & IT
Telecommunications and Information Technology Units of the bureau support all desktop and laptop computers, wired and wireless networks, databases, and networking solutions to other agencies. This division provides for Police Department radio communications and citywide telephone service to all city departments.
Records Keeping
Records Keeping
Personnel are responsible for cataloging all police reports, supplying the public with requested records, and entering data into our extensive computer database.
