Citizens Mobile Patrol
The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department welcomes City residents, 25 years of age
or older, to join the Citizens Mobile Patrol (CMP) and be additional "eyes and
ears" for the Police Department.
The CMP patrols all the neighborhoods, gated communities, parks and businesses within the City. They are in direct communications with the Police Communications Bureau to report suspicious activity, persons, public safety concerns, etc. They also assist the Police Department at emergencies and special events.
The Police Department provides six hours of training for new CMP Recruits. This includes a three hour classroom session and a three hour block on vehicle operations and equipment. Final CMP Certification follows a mandatory two hour ride-along with an on-duty Palm Beach Gardens Police Officer.
Interested applicants should complete the following online forms and deliver them to the Police Department Community Involvement Unit at 10500 North Military Trail, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410.
