Major Artola
The Uniform Operations Bureau provides police patrol services 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Officers respond to calls for service, enforce the laws, conduct proactive crime prevention, and serve the citizens of the City in a variety of ways. Traffic is a high priority in Palm Beach Gardens, and the Uniform Operations Bureau conducts traffic enforcement, with a special focus on key accident and high volume locations, as well as efforts to deter impaired and aggressive drivers. Officers are committed to working with the community to preserve an outstanding quality of life through education, partnerships, and enforcement. We believe in Respect, Accountability, and Professionalism and realize that a contact with a citizen may be the only experience that they have ever have with a police officer. Therefore, we are dedicated to setting the standard for our profession by being "Committed to Professional Excellence."

Road Patrol

The Patrol Division consists of four lieutenants, nine sergeants, and 54 officers who are available to answer your questions or assist you with any matter regardless of the hour. They respond to calls for service, enforce the laws, conduct proactive crime prevention, and serve the citizens of the City. Our officers are also equipped with pagers so that you may contact them directly.

Traffic Division

The Traffic Division consists of one Lieutenant, six Motorcycle Officers, three Crash Investigators, and one Police Aide. Their primary responsibility is traffic enforcement, with a special focus on key accident and high volume locations, as well as efforts to deter impaired and aggressive drivers.

K-9 Unit

We presently have three K9 handlers:

In addition to being trained for patrol, two of our K9's are trained to search for narcotics, and two are trained to search for explosives.
