{Am I a Palm Beach Gardens Resident?}

The City of Palm Beach Gardens is assisting residents who have experienced employment issues caused by COVID-19 through the Unemployed Residents Relief Fund. This program will provide a one­time, $250 Publix gift card to a limited number of residents to offset daily living costs.

PROGRAM EXTENDED: We have scheduled an additional gift card distribution date that will take place next Thursday, May 28, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at The Gardens North County District Park (5101 117TH Court North).

Those attending will be required to wear face masks and practice social distancing guidelines.

Things to Know:

  1. Distribution Location: The Gardens North County District Park, 5171 117th Court North. Enter off Central Blvd. at 117 Court.
  2. All persons receiving gift cards must live within the municipal boundaries of the City. Residents will be asked to furnish a Florida Driver’s License or government ID with their current address.
  3. Residents must be 18 years or older.
  4. One gift card will be given for each appointment card.

Verification Criteria:

  1. RESIDENCY: Recipient must live within incorporated Palm Beach Gardens. Visit www.pbgfl.com/residency and enter your address to check if you are a PBG resident.
  2. AGE: Recipient must be at least 18 years old.
  3. IDENTIFICATION*: Driver’s license or other valid government photo ID with address listed. 
    • * If ID does not list current PBG address, a recent property tax or utility bill with a name matching the ID must be presented.
      AND
  4. Documentation that the Resident has applied for or is receiving unemployment assistance, or
  5. Documentation of being furloughed or job loss or
  6. Any other information that can be provided that COVID-19 has impacted their ability to work.

Distribution Process (UPDATED):

  • Residents should come to the Gardens North County District Park (5101 117th Court North) on Thursday, May 28th from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. for "walk-up" distribution of the gift cards.
  • Residents are asked to park in the designated parking lot.
  • Staff will verify residency and criteria. A scan of the documentation will be retained for audit purposes.
