In order to teach private sports lessons on City property, one must obtain a Private Instructor License. Private Instructors may train up to 3 players at a time. - I paid $1. Am I all set?
If you paid $1, you simply submitted a permit request. A team member will review your request and, if accepted, charge your credit card for the balance of the permit. - I submitted a permit request and paid $1. How long will it take to get a response?
We aim to review permit requests within 48 hours. Response time may be longer during holiday weeks. Contact our team using the contact information above if you've been waiting an extended period of time. - I would like to cancel a reservation.
You can do this through the same system in which you booked the facility. Log in (click here), go to your account in the top right, click cancellations, then click “cancel this” on the reservation you wish to cancel. Please refer to our Facility Use Policies & Procedures for our cancellation policy. - I only see 2-hour time slots on your online booking system and the system won't let me book more time.
To ensure equality of access for our whole community, we limit our daily permitting time slots to a maximum of 2 hours per group per day. Recognized groups have extended privileges up to 4 hours per day. - How will I know if my permit is canceled due to inclement weather?
Stay tuned to pbgrec.com/weather; weather-related facility closures will be posted there. Notifications of closure are not automatically sent to permit holders. To receive notifications, one must follow the instructions atRainoutLine.com. Our team will issue refunds for any permits that were canceled. - How far in advance am I able to book or request an Athletic Facility?

Every permit holder is expected to understand the City's Facility Use Policies & Procedures. Permit holders sign off to understanding this document when booking or requesting a facility. - I would like to host an event (multi-day tournament, 6-hour multi-game event, etc.) at a Palm Beach Gardens park.
If you are interested in holding a sporting event here in Palm Beach Gardens, please complete our Event/Public Assembly Application. Our team will review your application and follow up with you shortly thereafter. - Am I able to book a season's-worth of permits at an Athletic Facility?
Any individual or group may submit a Block Permit Application to request a season's-worth of permits. Multipurpose fields are not painted and baseball/softball fields are not chalked unless specifically requested with sufficient lead time and any applicable fees are paid.
