The Professional Standards and Training Division is responsible for enhancing the professionalism and educational development all Police Department members. This Division facilitates and provides training for department personnel in areas including:
  • advanced
  • entry level
  • firearms, defensive tactics
  • legal training
The division also offers safety training to the public and local business employees.

  • National and state accreditation processes for the department

  • Researching and developing policies and procedures
Commendation & Complaints
Anyone wishing to make a commendation or complaint related to any department member may contact any on-duty supervisor. A form is also available online.
