PROCARE: Camp Sign In/Out & Parent Communication

Camp Gardens will use ProCare software for daily sign in/out and verify pick up persons for your child.  Not only will this tablet-based system save trees, but it will also allow our camp staff to communicate more effectively. Registered parents/guardians will receive either emails or push notifications regarding field trip updates, pictures of campers having an awesome time, boo boo reports, authorized pick up notifications, and much more.

New camp parents/guardians must create a ProCare account before your child’s first day of camp. Click HERE to create an account.

Are you ready to save your summer with this Junior Lifeguard camp? This program introduces youth to the American Red Cross lifeguarding program by building a foundation of knowledge, skills, and water safety awareness for future lifeguards. This course does not certify you as a lifeguard, but it will provide a solid foundation of knowledge and skills to help you prepare for the Lifeguarding course once you are eligible to enroll.

Participants must complete the following skills on the first day: Swim the front crawl for 25 yards and breaststroke for 25. Participants must also be able to complete the American Red Cross Water Competency Sequence, which consists of  stepping into the water from the side and totally submerging, maintaining this position for 1 minute by treading water or floating (or combination), rotating one complete turn, and orienting to the wall, leveling off and then swimming on the front or back 25 yards, and exiting without using a ladder or steps.
