Classic Camp 2022

Classic Camp consists of ten one-week sessions, May 31 - August 5, for children ages 5-12 years old (as of 9/1/22) who want to experience a variety of activities including swimming, team sports, gym games, board games, game room activities, outdoor play, movies and crafts. We follow a 1:12 staff-to-camper ratio. Campers need to bring their lunch, snacks and drinks daily in an insulated lunch box. The campers are split into age groups as listed below. Camp hours are 7:30am-6pm, with organized activities beginning at 9am.

Classic Camp registration opens for Palm Beach Gardens residents only, both online and in person at any Recreation facility. 


PROCARE: Camp Sign In/Out & Parent Communication

Camp Gardens will use ProCare software for daily sign in/out and verify pick up persons for your child.  Not only will this tablet-based system save trees, but it will also allow our camp staff to communicate more effectively. Registered parents/guardians will receive either emails or push notifications regarding field trip updates, pictures of campers having an awesome time, boo boo reports, authorized pick up notifications, and much more.

*One camp shirt for the summer will be provided and needs to be worn on weekly field trips. Additional shirts may be purchased for $10 per shirt.

Magic (ages 5-6 as of 9-1-22)

Campers will engage in themed activity weeks, fun with food activities, arts and crafts, STEAM projects, games, fun learning experiences, and enjoy special guests while also participating in local field trips including Burns Road Community Center and other activities. The PBC Health Dept. requires anytime entering kindergarten, or from another state/country, to have a Florida physical form and shot record on file with RYEC before attending camp. A copy of your child’s birth certificate may be requested at  registration.

Camp cancellations must be processed through your account online at Online cancellations will allow  parents/guardians to receive their refund immediately if the camp was originally paid for with a credit card. If you paid with cash (checks not accepted), you should expect a refund check in the mail within 2-3 weeks.

The cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 48 hours in advance: Receive 90% of the original fees paid.*
  • Less than 48 hours but more than 24 hours in advance: Receive 75% of the original fees paid.*
  • Less than 24 hours in advance: No refund.*

*If your child cannot attend camp due to a serious injury or illness, a doctor’s note must be immediately sent to ProCare for review. Refunds will not be issued for single-day illnesses.


All refunds must be requested in writing at any of our Recreation service desks or through the Refund Request Electronic Form.

How to find your Childcare Statement

Follow these easy steps to print your Childcare Statement for your tax return:

  1. On any Recreation web page, click on the "Register/Pay for a Program" button or go to Palm Beach Gardens Recreation Login.
  2. Log in to your household
  3. Click on My Account
  4. Click on Childcare Statement
  5. Select tax year, enter email address and submit
