Gardens Gives Back
Community Service Experience

Register online or in person at any Recreation front desk.

If a program is full, please consider putting your child on the waiting list. Many times we have cancellations before the camp begins.

Court-ordered community service hours are not offered in this program.

The holiday season is a perfect time to give back to others in need. This valuable experience is one that you will not soon forget as we learn how to work together as a team by using communication and leadership skills. Up to 24 hours of community service can be earned. Please arrive by 8:15am.

Services could range from helping the homeless, landscaping and park beautification to cleaning the environment, helping the hungry, assisting the blind or helping in an animal shelter. It is highly recommended for each participant to bring sunscreen and a hat, as many projects will be outdoors. Each day begins and ends at the Burns Road Community Center.

Please verify with your school that community service hours completed will be accepted towards your school requirements.
