Registration is ongoing for Fall classes. Current classes may be pro-rated if space permits. Winter/Spring class registration begins on Thursday, December 12. Register online or in person.

TECHIE KIDS CLUB

Techie Kids Club is an educator-designed coding and robotics enrichment program. We focus on fun STEAM based lessons and activities that promote the healthy use of technology, and collaborative and individual learning. Children will learn everything from basic computational skills to coding/programming, robotics, and even graphic design!

SPRING INTO S.T.E.A.M.! HOMESCHOOL CLASSES

The City of Palm Beach Gardens and Kids Need More Art are excited to present an all new Homeschool program happening on select Fridays throughout the school year! It’s full STEAM ahead with this integrated K-5th program that combines the sciences and the visual arts. Each session will offer unique themes for exploratory and creative learning opportunities. Programs are designed for students in grades K-5 with differentiated instruction offered for various age levels.

Karate for Kids

This 45-minute class is designed for younger children to help develop basic karate skills. The focus is on improving balance and coordination while emphasizing self-control, self-discipline, and building self-confidence through development of basic karate techniques.

Karate for Juniors

A 90-minute class designed to help older students develop strong fundamental karate techniques. Self defense and effective karate technique are the main focus of the class with attention given to balance, speed and target awareness.

Beginner Gymnastics

 An introduction of gymnastics for children ages 5 and up as a tool for developing both physically and mentally. This program will teach strength, balance, coordination, flexibility and discipline. Through positive reinforcement, the children can learn the skills at their own pace.

Ninja Fitness

Kids can challenge their inner ninja and learn how to train and strengthen their muscles while increasing confidence in their movement and abilities. Develop skills such as team building, camaraderie and perseverance. The kids will use obstacles and circuit-based activities to increase their endurance, strength, balance and coordination all while in a controlled and safe environment.

Canceled Classes

Many classes are canceled due to low enrollment. If you are interested in taking a class that has been canceled, please email the Recreation Department or call 561-630-1100 and put your name on a list to let us know that you are interested in that class. Once we have enough people to hold the class, we will try to restart that class.
