Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue has continually achieved international accreditation status since 2006 through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. This achievement is conferred upon fire departments who adopt the continuous quality improvement model by comparing current practices to current research and industry best practices. There are about 290 fire departments worldwide who have earned this distinction, and Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue is proud to be the first accredited agency in Palm Beach County.

Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services

Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue obtained initial accreditation through the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services in December 2019. This achievement is conferred upon agencies who encourage and promote high-quality patient care through compliance with national standards. There are just under 200 agencies throughout the Commission on Accreditation of Ambulance Services. Accredited.United States and Canada who have earned this distinction, and Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue is proud to be the only CAAS-accredited agency in Palm Beach County.

Achievement of this accreditation makes Palm Beach Gardens just one of five dual-accredited agencies in the state, re-affirming the Department’s commitment to excellence.
