For the 14th year, we're raising money for local veterans! Join us on Saturday, November 7th for our annual Mayor's Veterans Golf Tournament at Sandhill Crane Golf Club.

This year's tournament features three individual events. There is one 18 hole event in the morning and 2- 9 hole events in the afternoon. Proceeds will go to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center Veterans Resource Center, which provides assistance and supportive services to homeless veterans.

City Council Meeting: What's on the agenda?

The next City Council meeting will be held on Thursday, November 5th. The NEW START TIME for City Council meetings is now 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at Palm Beach Gardens City Hall, 10500 North Military Trail.

Watch safely from home via LiveStream on the City's website. Anyone attending the meeting in person will be asked COVID-19 screening questions and have a temperature check conducted prior to entering the Council Chambers. Seating will be subject to social distancing.

Thanksgiving Safety Tips

Did you know that Thanksgiving is the leading day of the year for home fires involving cooking equipment? Follow these tips for fire prevention!

Stay in the kitchen when you are cooking on the stove-top so you can keep an eye on the food.
Keep knives out of reach of children.
Never deep fry a frozen turkey. Make sure it is completely thawed and always have a fire extinguisher nearby.
Make sure children stay away from hot food and liquids. The steam or splash from vegetables, gravy, or coffee could cause serious burns.
