PBG CARES: Mortgage and Rent Assistance Program

Have you suffered a loss of employment or other financial hardship because of COVID-19? The Palm Beach Gardens C.A.R.E.S Mortgage and Rent Assistance Program is now accepting applications. Approximately $400,000 in H.U.D. funding is available and the City will approve up to $15,000 in grants funds for each qualifying household. This program is designed to assist low-to-moderate income households.

COVID-19 Outdoor Seating/Use Plan Approvals Extended!

Great news for businesses! In consideration of challenges still facing our businesses, the City of Palm Beach Gardens has extended approvals for the expansion of outdoor use areas through June 30, 2021. A streamlined process is in place for expedited review of requests.

Any modification to an approved, or existing outdoor seating/use plan, including the outdoor display of merchandise will be subject to an expedited review by the Planning and Zoning Department. If you are a local business and wish to expand/modify your outdoor seating/use area, you should email your request to Bahareh Wolfs at bwolfs@pbgfl.com.

These services will be provided to our local businesses at no cost. All approvals will expire on June 30, 2021, unless otherwise extended by the City.

GardensArt Call to Artists

Calling all artists! GardensArt is currently offering solo art exhibitions at Sandhill Crane Golf Clubhouse, located at 9500 Sandhill Crane Drive. The venue requires large format paintings or photographs themed in nature, such as landscapes, oceans, beaches, fishing boats, and Florida images.

COVID-19 Vaccine Update

Beginning March 29, the following groups are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines in Florida:

Persons 40 years of age and older;
Persons determine to be extremely vulnerable by a physician (form required);
Health care workers with direct patient contact;
Long-term care facility residents and staff.
