HOLIDAY BAZAAR VENDOR APPLICATION DEADLINE SEPTEMBER 30

Interested in becoming a Holiday Bazaar vendor? This winter, the Gardens Holiday Bazaar debuts for its 37th season at the Burns Road Community Center Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4. SCHOOL’S OUT CAMP: SEPTEMBER 16

No school that day? Send them our way to play! We offer activity filled one-day camps on Palm Beach County school closures as well as winter and spring break. Our experienced camp staff will keep your child/ren entertained with a variety of onsite activities, field trips to outside attractions, crafts, gym games, and trips to nearby parks and playgrounds. Low camper to staff ratios and nightly building deep cleanings. Safety is our number #1 priority! Space is limited so register early. Please pack lunch, snacks and drinks. Kids Night Out. Ages 5-12. Burns ORad Community Center. 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. R/NR Fee: $20/$25. Upcoming Dates: September 24.

BUDDING/BLOOMING BUDDIES

Our Budding and Blooming Buddies programs are a FUN way to start your educational journey.  Each class will offer multiple ways to work on developmental milestones, fine and gross motor skills, and social emotional well-being. Children will have the opportunity to interact through music, movement, arts, and crafts. Click HERE  to register!

RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS

This program teaches participants elements of dance, gymnastics, and ballet while also incorporating the use of apparatuses (balls, ribbon, hoops, etc.). Participants will improve dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and strength among other physical abilities. Click HERE to register!

AMAZING ATHLETES YOUTH FITNESS

Keep your youngster movin' and groovin' with our Amazing Athletes Youth Fitness Classes! Your child will explore a variety of sports, learning the basic skills of soccer, volleyball, hockey, lacrosse, basketball and more all while being introduced to leadership and teamwork! EXCEPTIONALLY INCLUSIVE ART PROGRAMS

Recreation is proud to offer inclusive art programs in partnership with the Theresa Foundation, whose mission is to help enrich the lives of children with varying abilities through art, music, dance, drama, and recreation. Children with all levels of physical and intellectual abilities may freely express their feelings, benefiting cognitive and physical development and thereby increasing self-confidence and appropriate self-expression. FURTHER YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY

This class will take you on a journey to become a better photographer by understanding your digital camera; learn camera settings, exposure triangle, composition, color theory and photographic styles. The class is hands-on; we will do photographic exercises and learn from the printed photos we produce. On the first day, bring your digital camera and a set of up to three printed photos that you have taken, and  you are proud to showcase. Prints can be of any size. Click HERE to register!

BEGINNER HIP HOP

Heat up the evening with a great workout and become a better dancer! You will increase your energy level, learn some great hip hop ‘moves’ and burn some calories along the way! This class is for any dance level, so no experience is required. Click HERE to register! 

SELF-DEFENSE CLASS

Participants will learn authentic and meaningful training and educational experiences while focusing on specific self-defense techniques. All of our instructors are internationally ranked and certified with 25 - 45 years of training and teaching experience. Click HERE to register!

USTA NATIONAL SENIOR WOMEN'S CLAY COURTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

Championships take place at the Palm Beach Gardens Tennis & Pickleball Center September 28 – October 2, 2021. Events will be held in Singles and Doubles for women in age groups 40, 50, 60, 70, and 80+. Social events will be included. This tournament will feature top women’s seniors from the US and other countries, vying for our national championships and places on international teams! Come see!
