USTA Junior Tournaments

The weekend of August 13-15 will feature USTA-sanctioned Singles with Consolation for Girls and Boys 14-and-12-Under. In addition, there will be USTA Level 1 Boys & Girls 10-Under Green-dot Singles Round-robin, with winners and finalists qualifying for the Florida Section Championships. Played at the highest level of the USTA’s 10-Under progression, the “green-dot” ball, with 75% of the pressure of the regular or “yellow” ball, bounces lower and tends to stay in play longer, encouraging younger players to develop consistency and endurance, as well as more natural strokes. Eligibility rules apply. Click here for entry or more information, or just come and watch some great tennis! Play takes place between 8:30am and 7:30pm Saturday and Sunday. The Center will host other USTA junior and adult tournaments throughout the year.

Palm Beach County Women’s Tennis Association (PBCWTA)

In the late 1960’s, groups of female tennis enthusiasts began to meet and play on an organized basis. They caught the wave of the emerging “tennis boom” and a movement was born. Now comprising nearly 1500 players on 93 teams representing 30 clubs and facilities, PBCWTA is going strong after nearly a half century. The Palm Beach Gardens Tennis Center supports nine PBCWTA teams in Open through D7 leagues. In addition, Tennis Center teams play in USTA, Senior and Palm Tennis leagues. Could team tennis be for you? Contact your Tennis Center at (561) 775-8277.
