The Benefits of SwimmingThere are so many benefits to swimming that it’s hard to list them all, but here are just a few: 1. All ages can do it! At the PBG Aquatic Complex, our oldest lap swimmer is in her nineties, but you’d never know it! 2. It’s a workout for the whole body – from improved muscle endurance and flexibility to core strength and cardiovascular benefits, swimming covers it all. 3. De-stressor – Clear your mind while swimming repetitive laps and listening to music at our lap pool. 4. Non-impact – Do you suffer from aches and pains and have difficulty exercising? Swimming laps or doing water aerobics offers water resistance for a great workout but takes away the hard impact and pressure on your body.
