Ages 8-13  |  Saturday, February 10  |  1-3pm

A one-day Valentine’s workshop working with wire, beads and other elements to make crafty creations. Many projects will be inspired by ‘Streetwires’: an organization of artisans in
Cape Town, South Africa, that create and design unique beaded sculpture.
All supplies are included. Res/Non-Res Fee: $20/$25

Ages 3-5

Pre-School aged children will have a blast exploring the world through multicultural crafts. Little artists will create African Masks with colored papers and found materials, learn about the Japanese Art of Gyo-taku (Fish Rubbing), make Mexican paper flowers and more!
All supplies are included.

New! Master of the Week 

Ages 5-11
Mondays, January 22 - March 12  |  3:15-4:15pm

Young artists will be introduced to a different master artist each week. After a brief lesson in art history, students will have the opportunity to create their own work of art in the style of the Master. The medium and materials will change each week. All supplies are included. No class Feb 19. Res/Non-Res Fee: Mondays - $105/$131 or Saturdays - $120/$150.

Ages 7-10
Wednesdays, January 17 - March 14  |  4:00-5:00pm

This course is designed for the elementary and middle school aged student. Each class will incorporate a different medium into a fun drawing project. Drawing mediums include pencil, charcoal, India ink and watercolor pencils. Students will explore still life drawing, perspective drawing, drawing animals, and more! All supplies are included. Res/Non-Res Fee: $135/$169

Art Enrichment 

Ages: 3rd-5th graders
Mondays, February 5 - March 12  |  6:00-7:30pm

Students will learn to develop their skills in drawing, painting, and mixed media and acquire some sculptural skills. The class will also help to enhance the necessary skills and understanding needed for students who are interested in auditioning for the Visual Department for BAK Middle School of the Arts.  11”x14” mixed media pad, a folder, ebony pencils and eraser are required. Res/Non-Res Fee: $75/$94

Clay Creations! 

Ages 8-11
Thursdays, January 25 - March 15  |  4:30-6pm

Come play with clay and create pieces using coils, slabs, pinch pots and extrusions. Learn decorative techniques using textures and colorful glazes and find out about greenware, bisqueware and the process of working with clay from start to finish. Clay and glaze fees are included.
Res/Non-Res Fee: $160/$200

Ceramics - All Levels Welcome

Ages: Teens through Adult  |  Thursdays, January 25 - March 15  |  6:15-8:45pm
Discover the ceramic artist in you. Learn both hand building and wheel work while receiving individualized attention. Create, play and imagine in clay. Initial clay and glaze fees included. Each additional 25 lb. bag of clay and glaze is $20.
Res/Non-Res Fee: $240/$300
