Kaleidoscope Kids

Little artists ages 3-5 will create multicultural crafts such as African masks with colored papers and found materials. Learn about the Japanese art of Gyo-taku (Fish Rubbing), make Mexican paper flowers & more! Saturdays, April 7 – May 26 from 10:45-11:30am. We’d like to say a fond farewell to Ed Butzin and Al Maeyens, who have taught our kids’ and adult Karate classes for many, many years. We wish them the very best in their new endeavors. We are now happy to welcome Fred Bonomo, Chief Instructor and 5th Dan, who will be teaching Shotokan Karate, one of the most popular styles of traditional karate practiced globally by millions of students and instructors. Classes are on Monday and Wednesday evenings – 6-6:45pm for kids ages 7-9 and 7-8:30pm for ages 10 and up. All students are required to purchase a gi (uniform) from the instructor for $35. If you’re already a practicing artist, learn ways to make your drawings and paintings more accurate and more exciting. Members of the Adult/Senior Club recently enjoyed a beautiful day at Mounts Botanical Gardens while viewing the “Washed Ashore: Art to Save the Sea” exhibit, featuring giant sea creatures made of ocean debris. Aquatic Complex Hours

From now through May 26, the play pool with diving board, slides and rock wall is open on Saturdays from 11am-5pm and the Splash Zone is open on Tuesdays from 10am-noon, Thursdays from 3-5pm and Saturdays from 11am-5pm. Splash, Craft and Safety Class

The Splash, Craft and Safety Class is the perfect activity for your 3 ½ - 5 year old child.  Classes included fun safety lessons, a craft of the day, and free time in our newly renovated Splash Zone.  Thursdays, April 26-May 17 from 10am-Noon. Res/Non Res fee: $48/$60 for 4 weeks. More Information

If you are looking for a children’s activity to help improve your child’s overall health and fitness, then the Makos Swim Team is the perfect program. Learn to Swim Program

Are you looking to take your or your child’s swimming skills to the next level? If so, then come check out our Learn to Swim program. The Learn to Swim program provides group swim lessons for all levels and all ages starting at 6 months old. Classes will be held Monday and Wednesday evenings from April 16-May 2, and Saturday mornings from April 28-May 19.
