Simulator Saturdays

Love golf but looking for a way to beat the heat?? Travel to world famous courses such as Pinehurst, Torrey Pines or Bethpage Black and enjoy 18 holes with your foursome from the comfort of the air conditioning in our cutting-edge Training Facility! There are three Saturdays available in August- 4th, 11th and 18th.

Simulator Saturdays is a spectacular way for golfers to improve their technical skills- whether a novice or a pro. Book your foursome for a fun day indoors. Call the Sandhill Crane Golf Club at 561-630-1160 to reserve your spot and your simulator bay! Space is limited.

Cost is $40 per person and includes lunch from The Dancing Crane.

City Council Meeting: What's on the agenda?

The next City Council meeting will be Thursday, August 2nd at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at Palm Beach Gardens City Hall, 10500 North Military Trail. All City Council Meetings are broadcast online via LiveStream.

The next GardensArt Exhibit is "Watercolors" by Tammy Seymour. Enter this colorful world of sea life, tropical birds and landscapes while it is on exhibit in the lobby of City Hall (10500 N. Military Trail) from August 27-October 4. This feature can be viewed Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Next Level Education

New Tools For Public Education

If you haven't already seen it around the City, you will soon come across the Mobile Public Education Trailer now in use by Palm Beach Gardens Fire Rescue. This state-of-the-art simulator uses the latest technology to create a controlled environment where children and adults can practice evacuation and fire safety skills.

With a kitchen and bedroom space, instructors lead participants through a series of exercises ranging from how to safely extinguish a kitchen fire to practicing evacuation drills. The Mobile Public Education Trailer will be used at schools, businesses and neighborhoods to teach in a safe, yet realistic environment.

Upcoming Maintenance Closure

The Burns Road Recreation Center at 4404 Burns Road will be closed Monday, August 13 through Friday, August 17, 2018, for annual maintenance and cleaning. The Aquatic Complex, which is adjacent to the Recreation Center, will remain open for scheduled programs and lap swimming. Online registration at will be available all week and the Center will resume normal operating hours on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
