TENNIS ASSOCIATED WITH LONGEVITY - AGAIN!

As reported by The Palm Beach Post’s Steve Dorfman in his “Boomer Health” column on July 1, there is yet another study, this time from Denmark, that associates the sport of tennis with greater lifespans. While association does not imply causation, the results are impressive, with regular tennis players achieving lifespans that on average exceed those of non-exercisers by 9.7 years, far exceeding other sports. The Tennis Center sees a lot of cheerful senior tennis players who seem to benefit from the exercise and the sociability. Play tennis! Make friends! Live long!
